Black History Month Calendar
"Celebrating Our History, Contributions and Diversity"

It is with great pleasure the Round Table on Black History Month - London presents the first annual Black History Month Calendar. The calendar was motivated by a common goal - to promote the diversity of our cultural heritage, and honor individuals and institutions that have contributed to the overall development of our communities. These men, women and places constitute a source of pride, dignity and inspiration that gives the community its identity.

Faithful to this tradition, and especially to celebrate the 55th year of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the first edition of the calendar will feature individuals who symbolize success and achievement in their respective fields. In addition, the calendar will highlight dates that mark some of the important historical events relative to the universal Black communities all over the world, making it an invaluable source of reference.

The calendar is celebrating, not only Black history, but also the contributions of Blacks throughout the calendar year.

The London Round Table of Black History Month presents the official launching of the Black History Month Calendar "Celebrating Our History, Contributions and Diversity." A wine and cheese reception will be held to launch the calendar. Come and learn about the rich contributions of African-Canadians, both past and present, to the London Community.

The launch will be held on:

Time: 5:00 to 7:30 pm
Place: "The Community Gallery" at Museum London
421 Ridout Street North, London
