Black History Month Closing Gala

A free gala event of performing artists will be held on Friday, February 28, from 7 to 9 pm at the Wolf Performance Hall of the London Public Library to mark the conclusion of Black History Month.

Attendees will be treated to performances by McAuley, the Rwandan Dancers, D&M singers, Golden Harps Steel Band, a storyteller impersonating one of the inhabitants of the Underground Railroad society, and Triad, a hip hop group. Some past Black inhabitants of our community will also be recognized.

Following the performance, a reception will be held in the Stevenson & Hunt Room across from the Performance Hall.

Tickets will be available for pick up from the Welcome Desk at the Central Library at 251 Dundas Street and at City Hall on February 3. Although the event is free, tickets are required for admission. Everyone is welcome to attend.
